Two nightclubs in Madrid evicted for exceeding capacity

The municipal police had to intervene on Saturday night in two nightclubs in the capital for exceeding the permitted capacity, reports Telemadrid. One of them is located on Miguel Ángel street and the other on Segovia street.

In one of the interventions, carried out by the Municipal Police, on Miguel Ángel Street, some young people confronted the officers. One officer suffered a broken rib and had to be taken to a hospital. While a 19-year-old young man was arrested as he was considered the main aggressor of the municipal police officer.

The capacity allowed in the latter is 332 people and there were 667, municipal police sources inform La Vanguardia.

Since what happened last year at the Murcia nightclub, agents have much more control over the capacity allowed in nightclubs throughout the country.
