The Mossos d'Esquadra arrested two men this Monday night in Santa Bárbara. in Montsià (Tarrgona) as alleged perpetrators of a robbery with force in a farm in the municipal area of Amposta and lead an accidental escape by car.
A patrol that was heading to a property in the Les Collades district, where the owners had reported a robbery, passed a vehicle that was leaving at high speed.
The agents decided to pursue him and mobilized other units to arrest him. The escape lasted about 20 minutes with reckless maneuvers by the vehicle that hit a Mossos car that was blocking its path. Finally, they abandoned the car on a street in Santa Bàrbara.
The agents arrested one of the occupants and, later, also the owner and driver of the car. Both are being investigated for the alleged crimes of robbery, reckless driving and damage to the police vehicle.
The Mossos keep the investigation open and do not rule out making new arrests for their participation in the events.
