TV3 has no two ways

As a citizen of Catalonia, these nights I sleep better, more rested, since last week the director of TV3 struck down a collaborator of a late-night program for joking on behalf of the PSC, which he associated with a swastika.

One before and one after!

The dismissal is indeed a funny gag –almost great–, on a par with those television compendiums of faked blows, nonsense about silly girls in the pool and the most absurd Saudi soccer goals that they broadcast between programs.

Unless the director of TV3 is suggesting that little joke with the PSC – good times, green sleeves – the dismissal achieves a hilarious effect, although contrary to its purpose: didactically exposing the country's hypocrisy. Come on, like those British comedies about lords and their domestic service brigades.

I am not saying that the director of TV3 cannot do without a collaborator, but we will agree that he could be left alone in the office to continue in this line and that TV3 has two thousand employees, who should be congratulated for maintaining the best conditions of journalism and the European television world (I would do the same in his place).

That humor on TV3 seems transversal –when it is not– is irrelevant. Humor is free, facts are sacred. Let's not fool ourselves, we are older. TV3 is a television made to measure for an audience that drifted from Pujolismo to independence and has made it their own. TV3 is not touched! (Health, yes).

If it wanted to be a pluralist television now, coherent with the diversity of Catalonia –see electoral results–, TV3 would lose its audience and it would not recover so many viewers tired of information manipulation, deep state bullshit and biased documentaries whose denominator is the phobia of the neighbor . Everything that is Spain repels them, to the point of calling it –inappropriately– “Spanish State”.

What can we do! They are the things of love!

Of course, I liked the swastika gag more than the Spanish anthem performed with farts.
