The Women's League files a complaint with the CSD requesting the disqualification of Rubiales

The Professional Women's Football League, Liga F, has filed a complaint with the president of the Higher Sports Council (CSD) for the "very serious acts and conduct carried out by the president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation, Luis Rubiales" in the framework of the Women's World Cup Final and has requested its disqualification, as indicated by the organization in a statement.

The F League regrets that "one of the greatest feats in the history of Spanish sports was sullied by the embarrassing behavior of the highest representative of Spanish football" and ensures that "he proved not to be up to the task he holds."

The agency also considers "inadmissible and repugnant" that Rubiales "celebrated the triumph in the box of authorities, clutching his genitals next to HM The Queen and Her Royal Highness the Infanta Doña Sofía."

The agency points out that "given the seriousness of what happened, the damage caused and the unanimous worldwide rejection force decisions to be made" and that "society has made a clear statement."
