Palm trees between Calafell and Coma-Ruga. Along this stretch of the Costa Daurada coastline we can delight this winter with the majestic presence of these arborescent plants, as we see in La Vanguardia's Readers' Photos.
Once some fishermen recited a poem to me... I don't remember exactly how it said, but I was able to write these words based on their poetry and that's what reminds me when I see these palm trees.
They look graceful, those palm trees...
They are bathed in the breeze, with traveling clouds,
you will always see them
with a look at the horizon of the place...
Where in the distance the sky and the sea come together...
They are planted, with large roots...
From there they witness, from the sea, its nuances...
So many sunsets and sunsets
They have delighted....
And the joyful cry of the birds
They have been engraved on its leaves...
