I recently returned to the Remolar-Philippines marshes and was able to see the explosion of wildlife - basically, birds - that takes place there, as seen in this photographic report in La Vanguardia's Readers' Photos.
The lagoons have plenty of water and spring flowering is omnipresent. It is a gift to have a winged Eden (herons, egrets, black spoonbills, ducks, martinets, etc.) like the one I show you in the images, a short distance from a big city like Barcelona.
Let's not let supposed progress destroy this little paradise, a natural park that is practically in contact with the Barcelona airport.
It is a humid natural space that connects with the Llobregat Delta and forms the Remolar pond and the marshes of the Philippines.
From this natural space you can enjoy the close-up view of planes taking off and the beauty of the aquatic birds that frequent it, such as the flamingo.
