The Valencian vice president and Minister of Culture and Sports, Vicente Barrera (Vox), has announced that the "bous al carrer" parties will be subsidized by the Generalitat Valenciana. Furthermore, regarding the person killed in Pobla de Farnals by the goring of a bull, he has pointed out that "zero risk will never exist as it does not exist in traffic, in playgrounds or at the fair." The Valencian administration, he added, "will continue to support culture and traditions."
Barrera has assessed that "the 'bous al carrer' party has not been subsidized by public administrations but it will be from now on." And she added that "of course, it is part of our tradition and it is part of our culture."
"That there are unfortunate accidents and that there have always been and that they imply a risk, yes," added Vicente Barrera, after which he pointed out that "the important thing" and in which "a lot of progress has been made in recent times" and will continue to "move forward" is to "implement the greatest security measures that exist."
However, the vice president and councilor has asserted that "no matter how much" these measures are implemented, "zero risk will never exist, just as it does not exist in traffic, it does not exist in playgrounds or at the fair."
