The thousand and one views of the Ebro Delta

Land, nature, sports, skies, sea, dunes, daily life... The Ebro Delta catches you without even realizing it. Each time of the year gives you different looks despite being the same place.

Changing landscapes, variable weather, the dunes that move without making noise, the rice fields that are changing in color and appearance, the diversity of birds that you see flying, pecking or resting, the kitesurfers that literally surf among the clouds, the sunsets sun....

Everything is a gift for the senses except for mosquito bites if you are not well protected. You only need to stop, observe, feel and enjoy. It is quite a privilege, which I share in this photographic report in Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia.

Altogether, the Ebro Delta is home to 316 common bird species and some 360 registered birds out of the 600 existing in Europe. Among the most colorful in the Ebro Delta wetland are the flamingos.

The Ebro Delta Natural Park houses several protected areas with restricted access. One of them is Punta del Fangar, a space with peculiar dunes that extend along six kilometers along the sea.
