The summeriest October is born on the beach

First radiant sunrise of October, from Gavà beach, in Baix Llobregat, in an autumn that is more summery than autumnal, with heat and high temperatures.

The birth of the new day of this ninth month of the year has been accompanied by a glow, as can be seen in this photograph in La Vanguardia's Readers' Photos. The candilazo is a meteorological phenomenon in which the clouds in the sky show a wide palette of colors that ranges from pink to the most intense orange.

As part of the phenomenon of dispersion of sunlight, in the morning and afternoon hours, when the sun is closer to the horizon, the light that reaches the Earth is soft tones between red and orange.

We can also see a solar pillar over the sea. A pillar light is an atmospheric optical phenomenon in which a vertical beam of light appears to extend above and/or below a light source.

The effect is created by the reflection of light from small ice crystals that are suspended in the atmosphere or that comprise high-altitude clouds (for example, cirrostratus or cirrus clouds).

It is no joke that October begins this Sunday with the same temperatures above normal for the time of year that have been recorded in the last days of September.

In this way, practically all of Spain will exceed 30ºC, as reported by the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).

In the case of Badajoz, Córdoba and Seville, maximum temperatures will reach 37ºC and in the rest of Spain 30ºC will be the general trend. The maximum temperatures will increase in the midlands of the Canary Islands and the eastern half of the peninsula, but without major changes in the rest, exceeding 34-36 degrees in areas of the Canary Islands and the Atlantic slope, as well as depressions in the northeast and southeast.

As for minimum temperatures, they will also tend to grow in the interior of Galicia and the Cantabrian Sea, while on the Southern plateau they will tend to decrease.
