The Banyoles pond, despite being a protected area, has three bathing areas. One of them is the Caseta de Fusta, in the northeastern part of the lake.
This free bathing area is accessed via the path that goes around the Estany (you can get there on foot or by bicycle) and the closest car park to leave your car is in the Parc de la Draga. The bathing season is from June to mid-September.
The Club Natació Banyoles also has a swimming area in the lake, as well as an indoor and outdoor pool, as well as other services. It is paid.
Another place where you can bathe is in Banys Vells, where there is a bar with a terrace overlooking the lake that has an area set up for swimming in July and August, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The price is a mandatory minimum consumption.
