A man has barricaded himself in a house in the El Cabanyal neighborhood of Valencia armed with a shotgun and after shooting another man in the street, leaving him badly injured, according to what Cadena SER reported this morning.

The Special Operations Group (GEOS) of the National Police has been activated and continues to search for the alleged perpetrator of the shots fired with a pellet gun that wounded a man this morning, after the agents entered his home and have found empty.

The agents, within a large security device in the area, entered a house on Progreso Street around 10:45 a.m. this Wednesday to try to locate the alleged perpetrator of the events and collect evidence or vestiges related to the event. and with the victim.

However, there was no person inside the house at that time, so the search for the alleged perpetrator of the shots continues, according to police sources. The National Police has kept an investigation open since around 2:50 a.m. this morning a 41-year-old man was injured by the shot of pellets on Progreso Street in València.

The man has been treated at the scene by the medical team from a SAMU unit and has subsequently been transferred to a hospital in an Advanced Life Support ambulance, where he underwent surgery and is stable and under observation.
