The neighbor filed a criminal complaint against the mayor, Adeam Tomàs, and the president of the Cambra Arrossera del Montsià, Âlex Morales, for the inconvenience that, he claims, is caused by the sound of the hourly siren that for nearly a century has been emitted four times a day. time notice.
The president of the entity has explained that they have made the decision after the City Council has confirmed, in accordance with the municipal engineer's report, that the centenary acoustic warning does not violate any regulations and also as a result of all the samples of neighborhood support received. .
"We have decided that, until there is a judicial resolution, the siren will sound four times a day again," he said.
