Rain reigned on the night of the Three Wise Men. After a long time of drought, it made an appearance at the Cabalgatas which, far from being lackluster, seemed to be blessed by much-awaited water, especially in Catalonia and, above all, in the area of Barcelona and Girona.
The Three Kings Parade in Barcelona received the rain more as a gift than as an inconvenience due to the persistent drought. Thousands of citizens (600,000, according to the Urban Police), mostly children, thanked him. It was also quite an event in the rest of the cities and towns, such as in Girona.
To give us an idea, since 2010 it has not rained during the Barcelona Parade, which is more than a kilometer long and has more than 1,200 helpers. Despite the threat of rain, the royal parade in Olot, in La Garrotxa, was able to be celebrated in all its splendor. The Center Catòlic d'Olot, as always with its impeccable organization, has delighted the little ones.
