The Prosecutor's Office asks Ponsatí for her calendar of attendance at the Eurochamber for Llarena to summon her

The Prosecutor's Office has asked the Supreme Court judge Pablo Llarena to summon the former Catalan minister and JxCat MEP Clara Ponsatí again, after she refused to appear on April 24 after alleging that she had a job in Brussels.

In a letter addressed to the magistrate, prosecutors Javier Zaragoza and Fidel Cadena request a new summons for Ponsatí to be notified of his prosecution for a crime of disobedience in the 2017 Catalan independence process and request that his defense be required to notify the Supreme "the scheduled schedule of attendance at the European Parliament in the coming weeks" to be able to "make her rights compatible" as a member of the European Parliament and "her procedural obligations".

In the same letter, the public ministry opposes Ponsatí's request to suspend the case for having an open procedure in the European Parliament on his privileges and immunities, something that it considers "inadmissible and inapplicable."

The prosecutors make it clear that when Ponsatí "committed the criminal acts attributed to her, she was not a member of the European Parliament, not even a member of the Parliament of the Autonomous Community of Catalonia, so that the privilege of inviolability based on her opinions or votes is not applicable in any case".
