The painted field of Rubinat

This series of photographs in Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia of the mural space in Rubinat (Ribera d'Ondara), in the region of Segarra, show us in painting the rural landscape and country life.

These murals are like pieces of an open-air museum that invites us to contemplate the rural sector also from an artistic point of view.

We see a country life illustrated with a lot of color and that, at the same time, can also transmit many things to us, messages that invite us to reflect on the past and present of the rural environment.

The town has just over forty inhabitants and, among its points of interest, is the Romanesque church of Santa Maria de Rubinat, with three naves and its characteristic bell tower.

But, without a doubt, the murals do not leave anyone indifferent, since they attract a lot of attention once integrated into the streets and houses of this town in La Segarra.
