I share in the Photos of the Readers of La Vanguardia this Christmas postcard that I made this year dedicated to Calella de Palafrugell, one of the coastal districts of Palafrugell, located on the Costa Brava.
This postcard is made with mixed technique of pen drawing and watercolor. All readers receive a cordial greeting and I wish you a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year 2024.
Calella de Palafrugell is a picturesque town, which still preserves the old charm of the towns in the area before the arrival of mass tourism.
Calella de Palafrugell is known for the conservation of its beaches and the preservation of its rural areas on the outskirts. Its small coves stand out, along with another coastal and tourist center like Llafranc.
In fact, many of the families that still live in Calella de Palafrugell belong to lines of former fishermen who have preserved a village atmosphere, despite the advance of tourism. The white of its houses stands out.
