I have captured these photographs with my mobile phone for La Vanguardia Readers' Photos in Aitona, in the Segrià region, walking under a grove of trees and seeing in detail the flowers that now shine in the fields full of fruit trees.
15 is a number associated with flowering, as the ideal, since the maximum splendor in these fields is concentrated above all in an approximate period of two very specific weeks on the calendar, although it varies according to weather conditions.
Thus, the best date to see the flowering in Lleida this 2024 seems to be between approximately March 10 and 20, when its peak of splendor is expected.
Regarding the flowering dates of fruit trees for 2024, in the majority of municipalities in Segrià, activities are planned between March 1 and 26, when it is estimated that the vast majority of fruit tree varieties will bloom.
The beginning of flowering is considered when around 10% of the flowers are open, while full flowering comes with 50% of the flowers open. It ends when all the petals have fallen.
