In Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia we can contemplate these images of the mysterious moon hidden in the fog behind the hermitage of Santa Perpètua de Vespella, in Santa Cecília de Voltregà, in Osona.
Santa Perpètua de Vespella is a chapel that crowns a peak of 790 meters of altitude, between the depressions of the Tuta torrent and the Valle de Sorreigs.
It is located on the same border line between the municipalities of Gurb and Santa Cecília de Voltregà. Given its location, this chapel is a visible point from afar and, moreover, highly visited by devout hikers.
The hermitage belongs to the parish of Vespella. Its origin is unclear, although it is known that, in 1356, he received a bull of indulgences to promote his worship. The temple has a classical Romanesque orientation and a Gothic stone saint is venerated on its simple altar.
The current building is rectangular in plan and seems to have been restored, or at least substantially repaired, in the 17th or early 18th century.
