The Muntanyola (Osona) rave is still active this Sunday morning and the Mossos d'Esquadra control the access to prevent more participants from arriving and to guarantee that no attendee who could generate any danger or harm to other citizens does not leave.

The illegal party concentrates between 150 and 200 people and about 50 vehicles in the Pla del Vilar area and the mayor of the municipality, Carles Morera, has expressed his concern that a fire could break out. "We are concerned that the party is being held in the driest place in the municipality," Morera lamented in statements to ACN. The 'rave' would have started on Friday and the organizers assured that their intention is to leave on Sunday night.

The mayor of Muntanyola has explained that it is the first time they have evidence of a party like this in the municipality - a few weeks ago there were similar ones in Sarral (Conca de Barberà) and Torà (Segarra) - and that the main concern they have is the high risk of fire in the area.

According to Morera, the rave is taking place in an "isolated" and "relatively dry" place in Muntanyola. In addition, "the wind is not accommodating and yesterday it did a lot and today too," she warned. "We have a serious fire problem," she insisted, so she opened the door to "other measures" beyond access control "if this drags on."

The rave organizers pointed out that the party takes place in this area because they have "nowhere else" to do it and guaranteed that when they leave the place will be "super clean".
