Agents of the Mossos d'Esquadra of the Criminal Investigation Division (DIC) of Tarragona have arrested a man allegedly related to the violent death of a woman in Salou, which took place this Sunday night.
The events would have occurred around half past nine, when the Mossos received a notice from a hotel in Salou warning of the presence of a seriously injured woman. When they arrived at the scene, the agents found that there was a woman lying on the ground and a man next to her who had a wound that he would have produced himself.
Although the SEM health personnel have tried to revive the woman, they have finally only been able to certify her death. The agents have arrested the man as the alleged perpetrator of the death.
The Mossos have not offered details about how the attack occurred or about the identity of the victim and the alleged attacker.
