As a result of the premiere on August 3 of the Netflix documentary series The Last Hours of Mario Biondo and the recent publication of statements that we believe misrepresent the case on the death of Mario Biondo, Vosseler Abogados, as legal representative of the Biondo family in Spain, announces:
Last May, ten years after the strange death of the Italian camera operator Mario Biondo, Vosseler filed a complaint with the Investigating Court No. 21 of Madrid in which he pointed out the obvious contradictions and inconsistencies between the certainties of the case and the suicide thesis. As the reader will remember, the investigation was closed in Italy last winter with a devastating consideration by the investigating judge, Nicola Aielo: "the elements that are extracted from the file of the Public Ministry suggest that Mario Biondo was murdered by a hand that remains unknown and subsequently placed in a suitable position to simulate a suicide”. Currently, the complaint is pending to be admitted for processing by the Provincial Court of Madrid.
