The invisible conjunction of Vallromanes

Today I would like to show in Las Vanguardia Readers' Photos some photographs that I took this week during the night in the town of Vallromanes, in the Vallès Oriental.

These are snapshots in which we can see black pine trees, along with a whitish sky, which showed this tone due to some thin clouds that largely covered it.

By the way, that night was marked on the calendar to be able to observe the conjunction of the Moon and Jupiter. But, unfortunately, due to the clouds that were there while taking the photos, I was not able to observe this astronomical phenomenon.

So, in the absence of seeing the conjunction, I was able to take these photographs of the forest trees, thus leaving a curious and creepy result.

Conjunction is one of the main aspects of the planets. It is also applicable to any celestial object that is located visually close to another. Two stars are in conjunction when, observed from a third (generally the Earth), they are at the same celestial longitude.
