The Fluvià de las garzas is being revitalized

A gray heron walking near Olot after the great rain registered, with more than 50 liters per square meter. In three days, more than 90 liters have fallen in the capital of La Garrotxa and the Fluvià river has been revitalized, as can be seen in the Photos of the Readers of La Vanguardia.

I already played. The Garrotxa region has recovered from the last few months of drought. So much so that the fields and pastures are beautiful.

The Fluvià River rises in the mountains of Collsacabra and flows into the Mediterranean in the marshes of Empordà, near Sant Pere Pescador, after traveling 70 km through the regions of Garrotxa and Alt Empordà.

Gray herons breed in colonies, usually in tall trees near water. In La Garrotxa, specifically, they take advantage of the Fluvià river.

Nests start out as a small platform of sticks, but can end up being a huge mass of accumulated material.

The river falls more swollen thanks to the last spring storms, which also drag dirt into the Fluvià bed and the water acquires this brown color that we see in the photographs.
