The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, began a few days of rest in the Doñana National Park this Wednesday after an incident on the plane in which he was traveling and which forced him to return to Madrid to later travel on another aircraft.

Sánchez and his family were traveling to Jerez de la Frontera in a Falcon plane of the Spanish Air Force intended for the transfer of authorities, but when it was flying over Castilla-La Mancha, a technical incident of no major importance, according to Government sources, has caused them to The security protocol was applied and the aircraft returned to the Torrejón de Ardoz base.

This is reflected in the itinerary of the flight, which after taking off from that base shortly before 4:45 p.m., landed at the same place three quarters of an hour later.

Shortly after, the flight of another Falcon in which Sánchez traveled with his family was recorded and which arrived in Jerez de la Frontera minutes before seven in the afternoon.

From the Jerez airport, the President of the Government and his family traveled to the Palacio de las Marismillas, in the Doñana National Park, a place usually used by the heads of the Executive to spend a few days of rest.

Sánchez will resume his agenda next Monday, when he will undertake a tour of the Middle East that will take him to Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Qatar to analyze the conflict between Israel and Hamas and the situation in Gaza.
