I have attended the Doji show by the great and exceptional contemporary dance company Brodas Bros at the Factoria Cultural de Terrassa.
Music, dance and special effects with innovative light techniques that I have tried to capture in these photographs in La Vanguardia's Readers' Photos and that turn it into an extraordinary, unique montage that will not leave you indifferent.
As detailed in the show's introduction, "Dōji means "simultaneous" in Japanese. And this is what the Brodas Bros and Desilence do."
The dancers "illuminate the space with their movement (using sensors connected to their body) and at the same time the Desilence meticulously program the shapes and colors, jointly creating a brutal landscape of lights and shadows."
It is, therefore, an "immersive" proposal with color, rhythm, music and dance. Furthermore, "each piece is a celebration, which opens the door to reflection on what we are and how we move in this world of lights and shadows."
