The champagne that unites Napoleon and Scarlett Johansson celebrates the 280th anniversary

Founded in 1743 by Claude Moët and elevated to international renown by his descendant, Jean-Remy Moët, who dreamed of sharing its effervescence with the world, Moët

In fact, they remember that “for almost three centuries, Moët

Scarlett Johansson is the latest addition to a long list of famous fans of this brand, which includes names like Cary Grant, the Duchess-Marquise de Pompadour (who made this champagne the favorite drink of European courts) and Napoleon. Famous is the phrase of Madame de Pompadour (Jean Antoinette Poisson), lover of King Louis XIV of France, stating that “champagne is the only wine in the world that makes all women beautiful.” Today the “unlimited ambition” of Roger Federer, who is their brand ambassador, serves as their inspiration.

Based in Épernay, they have the largest and most diverse vineyards in the Champagne region. They total more than 1,000 hectares. Through the Natura Nostra initiative, Moët's long-term sustainability program

They claim that “easy to love”, each of their effervescent creations are “the most recent expression of the art of fine winemaking, dazzling and delighting with a wide spectrum of flavors and aromas to capture the astonishing breadth of their terroir.” Coinciding with its 280th anniversary Moët

The Moët Cellar Master

It is a Brut Nature (they had not initially predetermined it) that does not appear to have been aged for such a long time. It is an eminently gastronomic champagne focused on freshness, and with a saline touch. It parades between richness, complexity, elegance and depth. It exhibits pastries, citrus character, very good acidity, a certain creaminess and notes reminiscent of apple, licorice, nuts (hazelnuts) or toasted bread. In short, “a timeless creation of intricate complexity”, as Moët states.
