The Civil Guard has arrested the biological mother of the baby found alive and still with the umbilical cord in a garbage container in Los Palacios (Seville) on December 19. She is charged with attempted murder.

He will be with her "provisionally" for six months and then, following all legal channels and protocols, "reach the final adoption." Román, who has learned about the arrest of the alleged parent through the media, has stressed that, as a mother, she cannot "understand what she did," which is why she is willing to be part of the private prosecution if they become contact her to attend the trial.
