The Barcelona Beach Festival, known as BBF, lands in Madrid on July 14 after passing through Santiago de Compostela, cities to which it moves from its headquarters in Sant Adrià de Besòs (Barcelona) due to the city council's refusal to grant it a license to activity from 2023.

The event will be held at the Iberdrola Music venue, in the Madrid district of Villaverde, like Mad Cool. Neighbors from nearby Getafe Norte asked last year to stop the celebration of this latest festival after the problems it generated due to traffic jams, noise and risky situations.

As announced by the organization of the event this Friday on social networks, the festival arrives in Madrid on its tenth anniversary and tickets will go on sale next Friday, February 9. Already in December he announced a collaboration in Santiago de Compostela as part of O Gozo Festival 2024.

In Madrid, the headliners will be Music with Armin Van Buuren, Claptone, Hardwell, Koro Lova, Marshmello, Martin Garrix and Sam Feldt.

Last year, the BBF could not be held due to the decision of the Sant Adrià de Besòs City Council not to grant the activity licenses necessary for its development and the impossibility of finding a new location with the appropriate conditions.

"During the 7 years of the Festival we have not generated any problems or altercations in the community, and we have always respected all safety regulations, as well as the natural environment of the beach," said the organization when they announced the cancellation of the festival in 2023.

Great artists known worldwide such as Avicii, David Guetta, Marshmello, Martin Garrix, Chainsmokers, or Lost Frequencies have performed at this festival.
