The talk was to be given by Almudena Polo, defined as a "tarotherapist and expert in holistic therapies", although after the commotion that has occurred when such a peculiar initiative became known, the department headed by Mari Carmen De España has rushed to withdraw the course and ensure that the head of the department was unaware of the matter, despite the fact that, in effect, the programming was already public.
The spokesperson for the socialist municipal group, Ana Barceló, has also spoken out, considering that these courses are "an insult to intelligence" and a waste of public money.
Among the talks given at the aforementioned Women's Talent School are one on feng shui for business, another on the "Be Fulness" method of Comprehensive Wellbeing, and several on the use of AI, Facebook and Instagram and other issues related to Business Communication.
