Pacheta will not continue as coach of Valladolid. The Pucelano club has decided to dismiss the Castilian-Leonese coach just after being thrashed by Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu last Sunday (6-0). The image that the team gave, added to the bad run of results, has been the argument for the replacement on the bench.
With 28 points in 27 days, Valladolid is sixteenth and is out of the relegation places but Ronaldo's board of directors is looking for a reaction after winning just one game in the last seven days.
Pacheta, 55, was the architect of the promotion to the First Division by the Valladolid club, which only took one season to return to the top flight.
