This Thursday the television programming was well served. The premiere of GH VIP with its 17 contestants, the first installment of Joaquín, el Novato and his interview with Ana Obregón and, also, the second installment of MasterChef Celebrity, which ended with the expulsion of César Cadaval, one of Los Morancos.
It was on TVE's culinary talent show where an unexpected confession occurred: the episode of psychological abuse suffered by Tania Llasera. And the presenter wanted to capture her terrible personal experience through cooking. She did it by making a “terrifying” dish called Little Fierce Riding Hood.
It all happened during one of the most original tests of the contest: a dish inspired by a popular story and that reflected an important experience for the contestants. After 75 minutes of preparation, the candidates finished their portions and presented them to the former contestants of the latest edition of MasterChef Junior.
When Tania Llasera's turn came, she explained why her dish is called Little Red Riding Hood: “Little Red Riding Hood goes to England at the age of 18 to study and meets a big bad wolf. That ferocious wolf makes her think that she is worthless, but she manages to metaphorically kill the wolf and become a person with a lot of self-esteem. “A person who is on MasterChef today and is watching you.”
“This person told me that I was useless, that I was not intelligent at all, that I was stupid, that I did everything wrong. They undermine your self-esteem and you believe it. “You think you have a passionate relationship, when, in reality, it is a very toxic relationship,” the presenter revealed.
Despite the psychological abuse suffered, Llasera assured that he learned from it: “It will never happen to me again. Now, whenever I see something like this in a friend, alarm bells go off and, as much as possible, I always try to help.” This was when one of the Junior girls dedicated some nice words to her: “If you've had a bad time, you don't have to worry because you're wonderful.”
Little Fierce Riding Hood's dish consisted of a chicken thigh with salty reddish jam that emulated blood. “The message is very important, but the dish is terrifying,” said Jordi Cruz. The recipe was so bad that the judges chose the dish as one of the worst in the first MasterChef Celebrity test.
