New Monday with problems on the Madrid commuter trains. The trains that circulated between the Príncipe Pío and Atocha stations registered delays of 15 minutes due to an incident that affected the signaling early this Monday.
After a morning of delays and complaints on social media, manager Adif reported that the incident had been resolved and "the trains were going to gradually return to normal."
A couple of weeks ago there were major delays in commuter trains in the capital, due to two derailments, which caused harsh exchanges of accusations between the transport ministers Óscar Puente and the president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso. The central government has assured that it will meet with the Madrid president to analyze what is happening nearby and try to make improvements, but there is no date yet.
