Sánchez intends to "puncture the bubble" of 'anti-Sanchism'

Pedro Sánchez wants to fight in the general elections on July 23 and for this he will go to all the squares, also to those that he has not been in throughout the legislature, such as the set of Ana Rosa Quintana or some radio gatherings in the that does not receive friendly treatment, like that of Carlos Alsina, where he was already last week. "I have to be in all the programs to puncture this bubble of lies, manipulation and evil," said the Prime Minister in an interview on the Lo de Évole program, broadcast last night on La Sexta. In it, he denounces that the political, media and economic right has coined the mantra of "repealing sanchismo" and with this "has overshadowed" the government and legislative action of the coalition Executive.

"I have misjudged the corrosive force of many arguments that have been propagated in some media," says Sánchez.

The former president of the government, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, has acted as an advance guard in some cases in recent weeks, and has even raised his tone when he has considered it appropriate. Sánchez, on the other hand, points out that until now he had "tried on many occasions not to fall into temptation and provocations" that have been "constantly uttered" against him in the political and media spheres.

The head of the Executive insists that he has tried to have a political debate. "Talk about what we do and not talk about who we do it with," he says, alluding to the constant references that he governs with EH Bildu.

“When it is said that I have governed with Bildu, it is not true. An abysmal distance separates me from Bildu, and that means that in Euskadi we understand each other strategically with the PNV ”, wields Sánchez, who distinguishes government action from the majorities that occur in Congress. "To govern is to have ministers or ministers of that party," she justifies.

Likewise, he considers that the "most important error" of his Administration is "having made a technical error in the law of the only yes is yes that has allowed the sentences of some aggressors to be reduced."

For 23-J, he maintains, there are only two paths: the alliance of PP and Vox, on the one hand, or the entente of the socialists and Sumar on the other. Sánchez trusts that in the general elections the participation will be high and that there will be more mobilization than in the municipal and regional ones. In addition, he assures that he does not see himself out of politics after the elections.

Regarding his main opponent, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, leader of the PP, Sánchez points out that "it has been a huge disappointment for many people." "He thought that he was in front of someone moderate who wanted to reach agreements and in the end he has taken refuge in the same as always, in sanchismo, like Pablo Casado and Isabel Díaz Ayuso," adds the president.

The head of the central Executive believes that the slogans of the extreme right can thrive in those who suffer job insecurity and salary devaluation. But his recipe, on the other hand, is to "advance" socially.

The head of the Executive also speaks of the Catalan folder, who admits that he has changed his political position and defends pardons. "I have done it for a greater purpose and for a better cause, which is coexistence," he defends. “Today if the problem in Catalonia is not resolved, at least Catalonia can breathe”, he concludes.
