Sanir wins the public award of urgent transport from the Madrid Health Service

The transport companies Alsa and Transinsa have been awarded the express transport contract for the Madrid Health Service for the new health transport company Sanir, formerly known as Vitalia, for the next five years.

This project on which this contract is consolidated faces the challenge of leading the current healthcare transport sector, both urgent and scheduled, having an active presence in the field of public healthcare contracting, but also with an important commitment to the different operators private.

The Community of Madrid seeks, with the award of this new tender, to guarantee a public service of the highest quality, incorporating the latest technological advances in mobility. In this way, to the current 160 vehicles, a fleet of 175 new ambulances will be added with a clear vocation of commitment to sustainability and a high professionalism of all its workers, through continuous training.

"We are very happy to have obtained this public health transport contract from the Community of Madrid and to have obtained other private operators such as Sanitas. The idea is not just to stay in Madrid, it is to consolidate the project in Madrid but it is a long-term project, sustainable and ambitious growth", stated the CEO of Transinsa and Sanir, Carlos Paniceres.

For his part, Alsa's General Director of New Business and Diversification, Carlos Huesa, has signed up to the challenge of "making Sanir the national leader in the provision of healthcare services".
