Residents of the Russian town of Rostov on Don know how to give new life to New Year trees. The winner of this year's throw was Dmitry Rozum, 35 years old, with a distance of 9 meters and 40 centimeters, well above the mark achieved last year, which was 7 meters and 78 centimeters.

In total, the organization has collected more than 1,500 New Year's trees that were removed to dispose of them in an environmentally friendly manner.
