Despite the notice launched by La Vanguardia and the quick reaction of said company, the solution has taken time to reach readers given that many other apps are also adapting to the iOS 17 system. The providing company has offered its apologies for the inconvenience caused.

The messages from these subscribers remind us that, despite the unstoppable digitization in all areas, there are still many readers who want to continue enjoying a leisurely reading of the newspaper, turning page by page, even if it is on the screen of their tablet. And this newspaper service – available to all subscribers – makes it easier for many of them to access the printed edition of La Vanguardia in any circumstance and wherever they are.

At the same time, the newspaper's Customer Service has explained to those affected that the newspaper's general app (updated 24 hours a day, with exclusive multimedia content for subscribers and which was renewed more than a year ago) has continued access to the digitized version of the printed edition becomes operational.
