It seemed unlikely that Primo de Rivera's dictatorship would come up again as a topic in the History of Spain exam in the Baccalaureate Evaluation Test for Access and Admission to the University in Andalusia (Pevau), since it had fallen in the four years prior, but that's how it has been, which has caused a large number of memes on Twitter.

Primo de Rivera repeats for the fifth consecutive year in the Selectivity History exam and goes viral in Andalusia

After the Spanish Language and Literature exam, the Andalusian students prepared to take the History test, in which they could choose between the Primo de Rivera dictatorship (1923-1930); the crisis of the Bourbon monarchy, the War of Independence and the Constitution of 1812; the Revolutionary Sexennium (1868-1874); and democratic governments (1979-2000).

The first day of what was previously called Selectividad, in which students who want to access the University have taken the Language and Literature, History of Spain and Foreign Language exams, has already ended, without relevant incidents in the eight Andalusian provinces. .

"It is a very important day for the future of Andalusia, it brings back many memories for all of us because the day of the then selectivity is a day that we do not forget because of how important it is. In Andalusia our young people pass the PEvAU in a very important percentage thanks to their talent, effort and work", stated the Minister of Educational Development and Vocational Training, Patricia del Pozo.
