Parliamentary journalists reward, with humor, the "virtues" of deputies from Les Corts

The journalists who cover the information of Les Corts have awarded this Wednesday the new Premis Talls to the deputies who have stood out this year for their oratory, their relationship with the press, their intonation, their handling of the proverb, their resistance in the chamber or his styling.

After the final debate on the Generalitat's budgets for 2024, nine deputies collected their diplomas in a relaxed event in the Vinatea Room in Les Corts that was attended by a large part of the parliamentarians.

By categories, the Bunyolet d'Or Award for the 'Bonicor' has gone to the socialist deputy Toni Gaspar; the Revelation Award for Best Premiere in Verònica Ruiz (Commitment), the Micro d'Or Award for Best Relations with the Press in the 'popular' Juanfran Pérez Llorca, the Perla del Turia Award for Styling to Vox deputy Teresa Ramírez and the Sèquia d'Or Award for Best Sentence in Compromís trustee, Joan Baldoví.

The loudest award, the Cuarenta Award for Intonation, has been awarded to PP trustee Miguel Barrachina, while the I Will Survive Award for Trajectory has gone to veteran socialist Mercedes Caballero and the Socarrat d'Or Award , of an honorary nature, to the president of Les Corts, Llanos Massó (Vox).

With the Escape Award, for the best 'escape' from Les Corts, the president of the socialist group until a few days ago, the 'former president' of the Generalitat Ximo Puig, has been distinguished. The PSPV ombudsman, José Muñoz, collected the award, ironically saying that Puig was absent this Wednesday to honor his award.

The convening journalists, who have called themselves PePa, intend to present the awards again to their honorable Members in the next parliamentary year. The name of the award, Talls, comes from one of the most typical typos when translating the name of the parliament. If you write 'las Cortes' in Spanish, in some translators 'les Talls' appears.
