One person has died in a head-on collision on the N-260 in La Seu d'Urgell (Alt Urgell), as reported by the Catalan Traffic Service (SCT).
The fatal accident occurred around 8:15 a.m. and forced the road to be cut in both directions. Before 11 in the morning, however, it had already reopened.
For reasons that are being investigated, both trucks collided head-on and as a result of the impact one ended up overturning and its driver died. The driver of the second truck has been trapped and the Firefighters have had to mechanically free him. With this, there are 147 people who have died this year in a traffic accident in Catalonia.
