The Oscar winner has filmed an advertisement on the beach of Les Roques. The municipal service of the Tourism Area of the City Council, the Calella Film Office, has coordinated the filming of an advertisement for the Dior brand starring the actress Natalie Portman in which the actress can be seen walking along the beach of Les Roques with a Red dress.
The municipal service was born in 2016 to host the filming of the film "A 100 meters" with the actor Dani Rovira, based on the real story of improvement of Ramon Arroyo, participant of the Ironman Calella-Barcelona, an athlete who suffers from Multiple Sclerosis. Since then, he has captured different shoots such as the Christmas campaign of the company Anna de Codorniu, some scenes from the series "As if it were yesterday" on TV3 or the film "Friends forever" by Román Parrado, or a promotional campaign tourist program of Turespaña, as well as the Tabú program on Channel 0 on Movistar, directed by Jon Sistiaga with the participation of Lluís Homar.
This 2023, Calella has hosted a total of 22 productions and the most requested location is Roca Grossa, followed by the Far and other spaces in the city center. With the slogan “Calella, Ciudad Plató, a unique place”, the Calella Film Office offers the space and resources for production companies to use the city as a set to create, offering its spaces, such as the Far, the Torretes, the multipurpose facility of the Llobet-Guri Factory, Roca Grossa or Paseo Manuel Puigvert, among others.
