"I also want to appeal to the Valencia Basket fans to have some patience, because the accesses on this occasion are going to be more controlled and therefore the entrance is going to be delayed, so I also ask you for a little patience in that sense," said Barnabas.

Likewise, she highlighted the "planning" by the National Police and the security forces and, when asked about the match being played behind closed doors, she maintained that this is a matter for the organizers: "We know that there are other organizations that have suspended matches in which Israeli teams were playing, but in this case it is up to the organizer, which is the Euroleague," he said.

This match was initially to be played in the Israeli city of Tel Aviv, but after the escalation of the conflict with Palestine following the Hamas terrorist attacks in Israel, the Euroleague agreed to change the venue, to be played in Valencia and to be the second round match. the one that was based in the Israeli team's pavilion.

Maccabi, which has moved its squad to Cyprus in recent days to continue training there, plans to travel on a private flight to Valencia on Tuesday and in principle will not train at La Fonteta until Wednesday morning, hours before the meeting.
