Miguel Bosé remembers the barbarities that his father Luis Miguel Dominguín told him

This Monday, Telecinco premiered one of its most important fiction bets, Bosé, a series that addresses the personal history and meteoric artistic career of one of the most important singers in our country. We talk about Miguel Bosé.

In fact, after the broadcast of the first episode, viewers were able to enjoy a debate with people around them, and also an exclusive interview with the protagonist. In it, among other things, Bosé came to confirm the barbarities that his father, Luis Miguel Dominguín, told him, and the bad moments he experienced with the bullfighter.

One of the most controversial topics of the night, and which could be seen in this first episode of Bosé, was the relationship between Miguel Bosé and his father Luis Miguel Dominguín. Father and son lived some hard moments that the singer remembered and confirmed, despite how hurtful it was for him at that time.

“Reality far surpasses any fiction. When my father says in the series that he was unwanted, that he was a frustration, that he was a fraud and that he was not worthy of being the heir to bear that surname and all those things... He told me those things, he said to himself, It happened,” the artist began explaining.

Furthermore, Bosé did not hesitate to emphasize how much he resembles his father: “I have the worst of my father, a bad temper, a bad character. I have bullfighting, being a bullfighter is not just a profession, it is an attitude in life.” And let us remember that, Luis Miguel Dominguín, apart from being one of the most important bullfighters in the history of Spain, also had a reputation for having a bad character.

One of the moments that the artist wanted to remember yesterday was the day he debuted at Florida Park and his father was there. “I don't remember anything, I remember everything that happens in the dressing room, but the first moment of leaving nothing. I didn't know that my father was going to be there, he was proud, he knew perfectly well that what he was watching was going to be a great episode, he knew that he had discovered something and that it was going to hit him hard," he assured.

Dominguín had a bad character, but so did Lucía Bosé, his mother. In fact, he himself remembered it during the interview that Joaquín Prat did with him. “The worst things about my mother are innumerable. My father had very bad things, few and very strong. My mother had very annoying things, not so bad, but very annoying. They were two magnificent people, but it was difficult to survive them,” he said.

Already from the Telecinco set, his sister Paola Dominguín was in the debate and spoke about the bad relationship between her brother and father. “Like many parents, I wanted him to be a repetition of themselves, not to be a bullfighter. What people understand, Miguel suddenly does something different and that destabilizes him,” she said.

Of course, as soon as his father saw his brother sing he felt “proud” of him. Although, on the other hand, he also wanted to break a spear in favor of the bullfighter so that they would understand the time and context of the situation. “Do you know what it was like to see my son appear on television in a skirt?” he asked himself.

“That day the world came crashing down on me because everyone around me was telling me: your son is this, your son is that. He also suffered a lot,” he explained. However, at the end of the bullfighter's life, father and son made peace and Dominguín was "very proud of Miguel."
