Messi: "I got this tattoo to show my love for the club that made me what I am"

In moments of relaxation, Leo Messi has hidden blows. In an interview on a streaming radio channel called "Olga", with Migue Granados, the Argentine star made a confession of his Barcelona fandom: "I got this tattoo to show my love for the club that made me what I am," he explained in reference to the tattoo that wraps his entire left calf where he displays a Barça shield.

"It turned out well: ball, 10, Argentina, Barça," he explains with a sense of humor and pride to the interviewer, who laughs at his design in a fun and unusual interview.

Messi's left calf has been sporting an all-black tattoo since May, from which a number 10 stands out, the FC Barcelona shield and a soccer ball, in addition to the AFA shield. Until now he had not explained the meaning or the reason for this design that he had retouched on a previous one.

"I didn't like the tattoos I had. I had gotten them at a time when I had it done for the sake of getting it done. The typical one of going to the tattoo artist: 'tell me what I can get done, ha'. And then I transformed it a little: I went doing football things. What's more: I would have to give it another pass but at this point, I don't feel like it anymore [...] I more or less piloted it, I fixed it a little, right?", explained the Argentine player in the interview, given in the large living room of his house in Miami.

Granados responded by laughing ironically at the tattoo, to which Messi counterattacked about the tattoos that decorate the Argentine comedian's skin: "That one is horrible too... I didn't want to tell you, but that one is horrible," Messi laughed.
