Meloni sees it as "crucial" that Vox play an "important role" in the formation of the future government

The Prime Minister of Italy, Giorgia Meloni, spoke this Thursday at the Vox event in Valencia to stress that it is "crucial" that Santiago Abascal's party plays an "important role" in the formation of the future government of Spain and stressed that there are still "10 days for the patriots to arrive" to the executive.

This was stated by Meloni during her speech via video at the act that the Vox leader held in Valencia, where she regretted not being able to be there in person and applauded being able to contribute with her message to the electoral campaign of this party and demonstrate "once again" the "great friendship" that "unites" those of Abascal with the Brothers of Italy.

Meloni congratulated Vox for the "excellent results" obtained in the elections of May 28, not only for the "extraordinary growth", but for having made possible its presence in various regional governments, starting with the Valencian Community, in which the “excellent result” materialized today in a new “centre-right” government.

"The time of the patriots has arrived," Meloni said, referring to the elections on July 23, while denouncing the "false narrative" against the conservative parties and pointing out that it is being a "poisoned" campaign for Vox "in many senses" by those who believe that "they can defeat" Abascal.

In her speech, Meloni took the opportunity to denounce that for years "the model of open borders, of massive immigration, has been told to us as a fairy tale", but that has turned out to be "blatantly false" and "everyone can see it today". "It is not an easy battle," acknowledged the Italian prime minister.

Meloni was applauded by the attendees when her image appeared on the screens enabled to listen to her message. Abascal was in charge of giving her way and stressed that she is someone we "love" and that she "has supported us a lot."
