Those of us who make up Inditex can be proud of the trajectory we are traveling and, above all, of the way in which we are charting this path.” With these words Marta Ortega congratulated her employees in a digital Christmas card full of hope and optimism.
A message that, according to 'Economía Digital Galicia', has reached the more than 160,000 employees of the Inditex group, to whom the president of the company wanted to congratulate and wish a prosperous new year.
“The fruit of your dedication (of each worker) and that of the entire Inditex family is not measured with numbers, because it is built on values, emotions and determination,” the congratulations underline. In November 2022, Inditex updated its sustainability policy, favoring the integration of practices throughout its business model and with the commitment that all its activities will be carried out in a manner that is respectful of people, the environment and the community in general.
“For us, for you, a job well done is one that is not satisfied with overcoming challenges and difficulties brilliantly, but rather wants to do it in the most responsible and committed way with the world around us, with the people and communities. And this begins by taking care of each other every day,” writes Ortega.
Finally, the president of the group wanted to emphasize to her employees the importance of “the magic of Inditex”. “Let us never forget, it is the magic of Inditex, which we must share with each of the people who work in our team, with clients, suppliers and with all the people around us.”
