Madonna pays tribute to her children for being the "best medicine" in her recovery

A month has already passed since Madonna was urgently admitted to the hospital due to a bacterial infection for which she even had to be resuscitated and avoid the fatal outcome that the septic shock that the artist suffered at that time was precipitating. An effective diagnosis and treatment that made the singer get her discharged and start her recovery at home.

The artist has several weeks ahead of medical care, but the progress is more than evident, to the delight of her followers, who could not help but feel more than worried when the queen of pop had to cancel all her professional commitments. From time to time, she herself tells how she is living the whole process, and in her last publication she wanted to thank her "medicine", her children, who would have made the real difference in the state of her

This was made clear by the artist on her Instagram profile, where she shared a carousel of images where the singer can be seen with two of her children, David Banda Ritchie and Lourdes León; but also a gift from her representative, Guy Oseary, who made her especially excited.

“The love of family and friends is the best medicine. A month out of the hospital and I can reflect. As a mother, you can really get caught up in your children's needs and seemingly endless generosity, but when the other side of the coin was turned, my children really showed up for me. I saw a side of them that I had never seen before. It made a difference”, wrote the artist.

Madonna also wanted to thank her closest friends for all their love and support. Especially to her manager, Guy Oseary, who gave him a very special gift: a Polaroid taken by Andy Warhol of Keith Haring wearing a jacket with Michael Jackson's face painted on it.

“A perfect triangle of Brilliance. An artist who touched so many lives, including mine," explains the singer, who admits that she cried when she opened it: "I realized how lucky I am to be alive, and how lucky I am to have met these people and so many others. they are gone too. Thank you to all my angels who protected me and let me stay to finish my work."

At 64 years old, the queen of pop can be thankful for having been lucky enough to have achieved practically everything on a professional and personal level. The artist is the mother of six children: Lourdes, 26, Rocco, 22, David Banda, 17, Mercy James, 16, and the twins Stella and Estere, 10; of which she is tremendously proud; even more so now, that they have shown her to be with her when she has needed it.
