On Friday, July 12, the guitars will continue to sound outside thanks to Sum 41, Black Pumas and Tom Morello. It will once again be a day that combines diverse sounds thanks to artists like Jessie Ware.

Already on Saturday, July 13, as a closing, the protagonists will be Bring Me The Horizon and Avril Lavigne, who had not played in Spain since her last visit to Madrid in 2007. The Gaslight Anthem, Arlo Parks, Ashnikko and The Blessed Madonna will be also in the musical offering of that day.

There are even more artists to be announced in the coming weeks, including some headliners, especially on Friday, as confirmed to EFE by the organization, which has also reported that the maximum capacity of 70,000 people will be reduced, although not has not yet specified the final figure.

"Already in the change of venue in 2018 there were problems that did not occur the following year and I think that here we will also get better," Javier Arnaiz, co-director of the festival, assured the press after last year's incidents at the premiere of the Iberdrola Music, its new venue in the south of the city.

In that sense, he has pointed out improvements in the facilities, with two fewer stages (going from eight to six), more open spaces and changes in the location, for example of the bathrooms towards the perimeter after the experiment of placing them in 2023 in the area. central.

"We are also working with the venue to reduce the internal and acoustic impact, both the acoustic impact and the flow of people entering and leaving the public," he assured after complaints from residents of the surrounding neighborhoods and the fines that were imposed. imposed for these reasons, which has also led to designing a new mobility plan and maintaining the closing of the festival at 02:00 in the morning.
