Leonor trains in Candanchú before starting the holidays

Princess Leonor, like her fellow cadets at the General Military Academy of Zaragoza, will begin her Christmas vacation this Friday, but before that and as part of her training she is undergoing military mountain training in the Aragonese Pyrenees.

Leonor, along with 160 other cadets, arrived on Sunday for a course that began this Monday and ends on Wednesday. La Zarzuela has made public this Monday some images of the Borbón cadet on the slopes of Candanchú alongside other colleagues, without her being given prominence in any of the images, even in one of the photos, the princess appears from behind. Leonor, like the rest of the cadets, is equipped with a mountain uniform and, on the slopes, a helmet, protective glasses, and a backpack.

The cadets stay in the facilities that the Military Mountain and Special Operations School (EMMOE) has in the Candanchú station, on whose slopes, like those of Astún, mountain and ski exercises are carried out. The (EMMOE) is a training center and a reference in mountain training and special operations, as well as providing advisory services to the command in the specialization and technical maintenance of personnel.

Princess Leonor entered the General Academy of Zaragoza on August 17 to begin the first stage of her military training that will continue next year at the Naval School of Marín (Pontevedra) and, the following year, at the General Air Academy of San Javier (Murcia). On October 7, the flag swearing ceremony took place with the attendance of the Kings and Infanta Leonor
