The newspaper for young people Junior Report and the Llavaneres Handbol Club will continue to be united to promote handball and the values of women's sport both in the Maresme region and in the rest of Catalonia.
In this sense, the sponsorship agreement will mean the launch of a communication commission that wants to position the population of Sant Andreu de Llavaneres and the Maresme as one of the points of reference for handball, making this sport known in educational centers to create grassroots teams and linking women's handball to constructive values and attitudes.
For Joan Maymó, president of the Llavaneres Handball Club, "the collaboration with Junior Report is a good opportunity to give visibility to the population and build the foundations of a solid club both in terms of structure and values".
For Francesc Castanyer, editor of the current affairs newspaper for young people, the sponsorship has an educational function: "From Junior Report we want to promote a culture of fair play, emphasize the importance of teamwork, improve the personal and sporting development of players promoting a positive attitude towards learning and emphasizing respect for both their own teammates and rivals, referees and spectators".
Junior Report will sponsor the entire women's section of the Llavaneres Handball Club, in which the youth team coached by Josep Maria Masip stands out, who already won the Catalan championship in the cadet category and who won the Cup last June 10 Catalonia after winning the Handbol Ribes True North Canada. The club has also recently celebrated the championship and promotion of the senior women's team, coached by Joan Maymó.
