Jamie Foxx's first images and words after his mysterious illness: "I didn't want anyone to see me that way"

It has not been an easy few months for Jamie Foxx and his entourage. In fact, it could be said that they have been the worst. The actor suffered a mysterious "medical complication" that led to his urgent admission and kept him fighting for his life last April. In recent days, various media have captured him browsing and giving his best smile to his companions. Now, the actor has reappeared through his social networks and wanted to thank all his fans for the support and love received in recent months.

As we said, the only images of the actor that we had so far came from the TMZ portal, a little less than two weeks ago. In them, Foxx was shown with a good physical appearance and remarkably recovered, after almost three months since he was urgently admitted to the hospital due to a complication in his health. An admission of which hardly any details are known, except that all kinds of medical tests were carried out on the actor, who had to be "resuscitated" at a given moment.

These images reassured his followers, who had not received any news about the state of health of their idol. The actor had not publicly reappeared until this Saturday, when he himself shared a video on his social networks in which he can be seen recovered and with which he wanted to thank all the fans for their love. Although he has spoken about the seriousness of his health, he has not specified the diagnosis.

"I can't even begin to tell you how far I've come and how hard it has been to come back. I've been through something that I never want to go through again in my entire life," he began by saying. The actor also took the opportunity to reveal the reason why he has not publicly reappeared since then. "I didn't want you to see me like that. I wanted you to see me laughing, having a good time, partying, making a joke, making a series or a movie," he continued to express.

"I just didn't want you to see me with tubes coming out of my body and wonder if I was going to get out of this," he recounted. In addition, the actor wanted to address the rumors that his admission had left him blind or paralyzed, assuring that they are not true. "But yes, I have gone through hell and I have returned. My road to recovery is being hard, but I am in it, to be able to work", he sentenced, making it clear that his main objective is to return to work as soon as possible.

Despite the fact that Foxx has wanted to get closer to his fans with this video, he has not wanted to reveal what exactly has happened to him. This seems to remain a secret, since he even wanted to thank his daughter and his sister for keeping his medical history secret at all times. "They have not let anything leak, they have protected me," he thanked.

How could it be otherwise, he wanted to address his unconditional followers, who have always been there to send him messages of support. "I want to say that I love everyone, and that I have received all the love that you have been sending me," he confessed. Jamie closed the video shared on her Instagram profile, assuring that she "is on her way to her return."

The publication already accumulates more than 700,000 'likes' and more than 76,000 messages of support. Among them, those of some professional colleagues. "Awww man!! Who's chopping onions? I love you Foxx! Your light is needed and appreciated right now," expressed Will Smith. "I'm going to hug you when I see you again," said Dwayne Johnson. "I love you, brother," wrote Michael B. Jordan. Now, the followers of the Hollywood star breathe a little easier.
